Los Angeles Class


			The Los Angeles Class R/C submarine project

It all started in 1999 when I first fournd out about the Subcommittee. I was offer a tour of a 1:96 scale R/C Los Angeles submarine and was hooked. I also wanted to scratch build a 1:72 scale version of the LA.

	Here is how it started. I was tutored on how to make a hull with lost foam male molding. This is a two part plug that is registered together with pins. This was covered and waxed and then glassed. I decided to get help from my buddie as this was a new world for me!

		Here is Matt and myself after just removing the foam plug. This was too fun!
